High IQ is equal to the mathematics of Marks

After testing a few students I seem to get the conclusion that above average IQ scores do not necessarily translate to higher math marks. The test categories, including logic, memory, etc. sequence, these are factors important that might affect the ability of children in mathematics. Why these above average to high IQ students no mathematics score high marks? Some of these students studied hard and yet I could not do well on their math tests, why? I started consider how he tried to solve the problems and difficulties encountered in trying to solve math problems and found that there are still few factors affecting their ability in mathematics, but the IQ test in general do not seem to find these weak areas unrelated to their ability in mathematics.

  1. They do not know math cut short or suggestions. General intelligence tests do not test these areas.
  2. The can not work or do reverse backward thinking. Often, the IQ test does not require formulas and even students with high IQs have difficulties in applying the equations.
  3. They can not put any conditions or information together and then solve problems. For example, the IQ test will test the memory, logic or pattern on separate pages, but often math problems require children to apply to all a problem and IQ test questions do not seem to have this kind of problems to test them all the skills in a problem.
  4. Intelligence Test not teach children something in advance and then test their knowledge so there is no cause and effect result of education in question. It involves learning teaching math (conceptual learning) and downstream of the practice, so that if children are not interested in carrying out the completion the fluidity of mathematics learning processes and then your marks will not be high during the test.
  5. Are the kids interested in the study? If you simply tries because their parents want then the results will differ from those that are intrinsically interested in doing research.
  6. Are the skills shown in the test scores of high IQ transferable math test? This response can not be definitely yes.
  7. Often, learning math problems require knowledge to solve the knowledge learned and require practice what although some children have high IQ score, but it can not have high math scores, if not put in efforts to make sufficient practical master the skills. For example, I noticed that some high schools do not remember how to use the formula to expand (x – y) ^ 2 or know how to factor x ^ 2 — y ^ 2 and they have very little to do with real life experience. The reason is that they have done enough practice to be not when these skills are needed to solve some algebraic problems although it can have high scores on the IQ test.
  8. Some children of high IQ does not matter if what has been taught is clear or not, no spirit of inquiry to find out or ask someone to clarify the confusing points.
  9. Habits inadequate study or even bad habits of life that affect their learning ability that can not organize or analyze their thoughts. For example, if some points of the presentation were not understood by children of high IQ and if these kids do not even bother to take notes or assign to these points and then review them, how can get a high score, whether the items were tested later?
